Culinera places safeguarding at the core of our principles. We are founded with the purpose of ensuring we work intrinsically with our clients and partners to train our employees in all aspects of catering and school life. We undertake enhanced checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service and screen prospective employees carefully; hand-picking the best people to work with us and for you.
For us, Safeguarding goes beyond well beyond recruitment. As a minimum we train every single team member in Allergen management, Safeguarding, Fire Safety and Mental Health awareness. All of our managers are additionally trained in First Aid.
Often, school meals carry a stigma of being a poor quality, our ambition is to change this within the schools that we partner with. Further to this, we are ensuring sustainability is at the heart of our business, with a series of new pledges. We plan to review this annually with a view to growing this commitment.
