The A Team!

Reflecting on ISBA 2025 – A Brilliant Few Days in Manchester

Last week, our team had the pleasure of attending ISBA 2025 in the vibrant city of Manchester, and what a fantastic experience it was!

From the moment we arrived, the energy was palpable. We kicked things off by setting up our stand with the dream team, (Adam, Rose, Miles, Tony, and Jacek) who brought their usual enthusiasm and creativity to make sure everything looked spot on. Safe to say, without that enthusiasm, setting up Stand 160, which we built in our Base Camp basement, would’ve been a real challenge.

After a tiring six hours (and watching Adam learn how to use a drill), Stand 160 was finally built, the team was well and truly ready for an early night.

Day One of ISBA is always exciting. Exhibitors are ready and raring to go, whether it’s to beat the next stand in conversation, or simply introduce one exhibitor to another. Especially if you’re a caterer, because you typically have a fully functioning coffee machine at hand, making friends when great coffee is available makes life that much easier. Stand 160 quickly became a hub of conversation, curiosity, and connection. Meeting new Bursars and hosting our existing clients is always great fun!

Day Two arrived, and after networking with some exciting new individuals, we opened up our invitation to host a few masterclasses with Bursars throughout the day, all while enjoying a lovely glass of English Sparkling Wine. These sessions gave us the chance to dive deep into the challenges and opportunities facing independent schools today. The engagement was brilliant, thoughtful questions, lively discussion, and a real sense of collaboration. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us and shared their insights.

Of course, no event is complete without a bit of fun. After a busy day of networking and learning, the team enjoyed a well-earned night out together. It was a great chance to unwind, celebrate our hard work, and strengthen the bonds that make our team so special.

ISBA 2025 reminded us why we love what we do, connecting with passionate professionals, sharing ideas, and working together to make a difference in the education sector.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our stand, joined a masterclass, or simply said hello. We’re already looking forward to next year!
