We are excited to recruit a Chef Apprentice into our ranks at Hertswood Academy.

Utilising the governments Apprenticeship scheme, we are looking for 'rising star's to join our team. The role will be supporting the kitchen team at Hertswood Academy. We want to offer the opportunity for someone who loves food to start their journey in food. You will be supported daily by our Executive Chef at Hertswood Academy, Jamie.

This is a once in a life time opportunity to have daily mentorship and development to learn the ropes in a commercial kitchen and grow with the company.

It’s a small team – so it’s all hands on deck! You will be involved in a little bit of everything, supporting our team to make sure lunch time is a roaring success every day. This means you will support with food prep, baking, serving, cleaning and making sure your customers and team are safe. This role is based on you completing a work place apprenticeship. You will be supported by Culinera through the process.

Requirements

• Interest in food and cooking
• Self starter
• Under 25 (eligible for Government Apprenticeship scheme)
