Culinera are super excited to recruit this senior role into our teams at one of our flagship secondary schools near Chesham. We have this fantastic opportunity for an Executive Chef to join us from Mid August -/ September 2021.
Our schools are known for Aiming High and Achieving Excellence and this is exactly what Culinera are looking for. A Chef who can lead the kitchen but also collaborate with the wider Culinera Chef Team to create innovate dishes and continually improve, refresh and push the standards until every single student, parent and teacher is buzzing with news of the lunch service.
This role is not only the Chef lead with overall responsibility for the kitchen – but is the senior line manager for our Kitchen Assistants, key client point of contact and oracle of knowledge. We expect the person we recruit to not only be an excellent chef, but also dynamic, commercial, energetic and focused.

Requirements
• Educated to 4 GCSE’s or above with City & Guild’s / NVQ qualifications or suitable company in-house training
• Previous experience as a chef, including holding supervisory responsibility for a minimum of 2 years
• Understanding of Food Hygiene and Safety or above
• Successful progressive background in contract catering (preferred)
• Management of medium size kitchen (preferred)
